Microsoft Patch Results In XP BSOD

On February 9, 2010, complaints about a Microsoft patch MS10-015 (KB977165) that angered XP users because it gave them the infamous Blue Screen of Death. It was so serious it would keep rebooting and you couldn’t recover XP even in safe mode. Microsoft suspended the XP update while investigating the issue.
